Christine Novak

NovakChristine Novak, PT, PhD is an Associate Professor (Department of Surgery, University of Toronto) and a Scientist (Toronto Rehab) and Research Associate (Toronto Western Hospital) at the University Health Network. Her research has focused on clinical outcomes and assessment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders and the problem of cold-induced pain, particularly after hand trauma. Related to her research, she has over 100 peer review publications. Her physiotherapy clinical practice has focused on patients with nerve related pathologies. Dr. Novak has served on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Hand Surgery and American Society of Peripheral Nerve and currently on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hand Surgery, HAND and Physiotherapy Canada.
