Eric Oosenbrug

ericEric is currently in his fourth year of the doctoral program in the History & Theory of Psychology at York University. He is particularly interested in the interfaces between technology, health, and psychology in the postwar period. His research interests include biopolitics; brainhood; neuroculture, and masculinity studies. He is also interested in a broad range of philosophical questions regarding historical epistemology and the mind-body problem in modern biomedicine. His work engages with the history of behavioural medicine, contemporary pain research, and the emergence of health psychology in the late twentieth century.
