Arielle Sutton

Arly is a current medical student studying at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She holds a B.A. (hons.) in Psychology from McGill University, where her interest in health Psychology began. This interest was further developed by working as a research assistant and lab coordinator in Dr. Katz’s pain lab, where she worked on a study examining the relationship between mindfulness and chronic pain in a student population. She then completed her Master of Public Health degree at McMaster University, where she conducted a thesis examining the association between mental health and goal attainment for individuals enrolled in a health education program. She hopes to become a physician who treats her patients holistically, with a regard for both physical and mental health, and to conduct research in public health.
