Christine Novak, PT, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto and a Research Associate at the Hospital for Sick Children. Her research has focused on clinical outcomes and assessment of patients with musculoskeletal and nerve disorders and the problem of cold-induced pain. Her physiotherapy clinical practice has focused on patients with nerve related pathologies. Dr. Novak is a past President of the American Society of Peripheral Nerve, has served on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Hand Surgery and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hand Surgery Am and HAND.
