Janice Montbriand is currently undertaking her post-doctoral research program at York University. She is conducting research at the Toronto General Hospital department of Anesthesiology, where she is working on merging three large health databases to look at surgical pain outcomes and pain prevention. She is also developing her own scale in chronic pain. Her research interests include pain, sleep, research methods, statistics and epidemiology, especially as they pertain to working with big data groups, psychometrics, cognition, gender and personality. Her research interests also include Fibromyalgia, traumatic brain injury, mindfulness and relaxation.
