Sindoora is a undergraduate thesis student completing her second degree in the Honours Psychology program at York University. Her research interests stem from her clinical research experience at the Hospital for Sick Children, looking at factors that influence chronic pain management. She is particularly interested in the efficacy of therapies which integrate yoga and mindfulness into chronic disease management. Through guidance from her academic and clinical supervisors, her current research is to explore how mindfulness and perfectionism in adolescents and their parent/caregivers interact with disease management.
