Rebecca is currently completing her doctoral training in Clinical psychology at York University. Rebecca's Masters thesis looked at the impact of random numerical anchoring on pain inferences in others. Her other research interests include the impact of random numerical anchoring on COVID-19 risk perception, and the impact of unconscious numerical anchoring and pain-relevant images on pain inferences in others. Rebecca’s current doctoral research is focused on understanding how depression and anxiety may be contributing to problematic gaming during the COVID-19 pandemic.
